How Aletheon LLC handles information collected through this marketing site — and what not to send through it.
1 Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Aletheon LLC ("Aletheon," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our public website at aletheon.ltd and any subdomains (the "Site").
This policy covers the marketing website only. It does not govern the services we provide to clients under contract. Information handled during a client engagement — including any Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Federal Contract Information (FCI), or export-controlled data — is governed by the separate written agreement between us and that client (for example, a Master Services Agreement and any Data Processing Agreement), not by this policy.
2 Do not submit regulated information through this Site
The Site and its contact and readiness-check forms are for general business inquiries only. Do not submit CUI, FCI, ITAR/EAR export-controlled technical data, classified information, or any other regulated or sensitive information through the Site or by unencrypted email. If you need to share such information, contact us and we will arrange an appropriate, controlled channel.
3 Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form (contact or readiness check) or email us, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, company, work email address, the cloud and data-type selections you make, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) records standard technical data when you visit — for example, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and date/time. This is used for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or fingerprinting.
Cookies. Our Site is static and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline; we store that preference in your browser so we don't ask again. Site analytics are provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
We do not intentionally collect special-category or sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not send it.
4 How we use information
We use the information above to: respond to your inquiry and provide the readiness check or materials you request; operate, secure, and improve the Site; keep records of communications; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5 How information is shared
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and our business, under contract and only as needed — for example, our website host/CDN (Cloudflare), our email provider, and the tools we use to receive and manage inquiries.
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our systems.
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6 Data retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business and legal records, then delete or anonymize it. As a general matter, inquiry emails are retained for 24 months.
7 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a marketing website. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — another reason not to send regulated or sensitive data through the Site.
8 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us at info@aletheon.ltd. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
Colorado residents. Under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), you have the right to access, correct, and delete the personal data we hold about you, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email info@aletheon.ltd. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if we deny that appeal, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
9 Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
10 Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites (for example, government or cloud-provider pages). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
